Kayleigh Fan loves exploring new places, whether that be the worlds in her books or around the globe. She’s passionate about family history & draws on her Filipino-Chinese heritage to pen YA contemporary & fantasy stories. Through her writing, she strives to show diaspora girls they have a place to belong as they navigate growing up.
When she’s not clacking away on her mechanical keyboard—you can find her concocting new matcha recipes, capturing memories on her pink digital camera, adding to her smiski collection, or researching flights for her next adventure.

❀ Published short fiction with Havok
❀ Worked part-time as a content writer for multiple years, starting at age sixteen
❀ Started a pop-up business in high school to practice marketing skills
❀ Received a manuscript request from a publisher
❀ Will be graduating from the Author Conservatory in 2026 after three years of study with dual certification in Writing & Publishing and Business & Entrepeneruship
