Kayleigh Fan loves exploring new places, whether that be the worlds in her books or around the globe. She’s passionate about family history and draws on her Filipino-Chinese heritage to pen YA contemporary and fantasy stories. Through her writing, she strives to show diaspora girls they have a place to belong as they navigate growing up.

When she’s not clacking away on her mechanical keyboard—you can find her concocting new matcha recipes, capturing memories on her pink digital camera, adding to her smiski collection, or researching flights for her next adventure.

She will graduate from the Author Conservatory in 2026 with dual certification in Writing & Publishing and Business & Entrepreneurship.
